We are currently experiencing a major service outage affecting systems hosted in the Salt Lake Community College data center.
On the afternoon/evening of June 14, localized flooding impacted the Technology Building, resulting in a full loss of power to the facility a little before 11pm. As a result, the on-campus data center is offline, and all systems hosted in that environment are currently unavailable.
Impacted systems include:
- Banner (Admin and Self-Service)
- Local file servers
- On-premises application servers
- Other systems hosted within the SLC data center
At this time, teams are waiting for water removal and a facilities assessment to determine the extent of damage before restoration efforts can begin.
What is available: A temporary information page has been added to the MySLCC login page with links to services that remain accessible off campus.

- Facilities and IT teams are assessing damage and recovery options
