What Is It?


Salt Lake Community College (SLCC) offers a wide range of software licenses, access, and support to enhance educational and productivity experiences for students, faculty, and staff. Through the Office of Information Technology (OIT), SLCC provides licensed access for Students and Staff to essential tools such as Microsoft Office and Adobe Express, while providing access to other licensed software through Parallels RAS via All Access. Staff can also request specialized software like Final Cut Pro, Adobe Creative Cloud, Copilot Pro and other Microsoft products through a formal application process.

In addition to software provisioning, SLCC offers robust technical support services, including help with software installation, device setup, and troubleshooting, ensuring users can effectively utilize these tools for academic and professional success

Who or What is Eligible?


All software requires individuals to be either registered as a student or employed as staff or faculty.

Access to software is dependent on enrollment status, course requirements, and job functions. Some software will be universally accessible, such as Microsoft Office products, while others require specific courses or requests, like Adobe Creative Cloud.

If you are not sure if you should have access to something, please refer to your supervisor or professor.

How Do I Make a Request or Report an Issue?


Provide information regarding options to ask for help using the action buttons to the right. This may be be either direct services, service offerings, or links to external sites or groups. 

How Much Does It Cost?


Many services do not have costs associated. There are some that have costs associated that will vary based on the software being requested.

When Not to Use These Services

If you have not been registered as a student or are not currently employed by SLCC, you will not have access to software and cannot request access. If you are not sure if you should have access, please refer to your supervisor or professor.
