
What Is It?
Salt Lake Community College uses certain distribution lists to reach larger audiences across the campus for various reasons. These lists are more closely monitored to protect against communication fatigue and require special access to send to them. If this access is required for any of the following lists, please check the box that you need to send communications to.
If you have access granted through a shared mailbox to send to these lists, the shared mailbox should be employed rather than a direct sender. An example would be needing to send to the All-Subscribers distribution list. Robert needs to send out a communication, but cannot do so without access. However, Robert is a part of the Help Desk shared mailbox which can send to the All-Subscribers list. The Help Desk mailbox should be used for the communication rather than Robert requesting access to send to the distribution list.
If you should have access to a shared mailbox that is able to send to these lists, you may request access using the Computer Access and Email Request form.
Who or What is Eligible?
This access is available only to appropriate Staff and Faculty and requires business justification.

How Much Does It Cost?
There are no costs associated with this service.
