Request Financial Aid

What Is It?

Salt Lake Community College (SLCC) offers a comprehensive range of financial aid services through its Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships (OFAS), guiding students through the process of securing funding for their education. Students can apply for federal aid by completing the FAFSA, which opens the door to grants, loans, and work-study programs based on financial need and enrollment status. SLCC also provides institutional and state grants, tuition waivers, and scholarships—including the SLCC Promise and Utah Promise Scholarship—which help cover gaps not met by federal aid. Aid is awarded based on a combination of factors including cost of attendance, expected family contribution, and timely application submission. Students are notified of their awards via BruinMail and can manage their aid through the Financial Aid Dashboard in MySLCC.
