Request Electronic/Key Card Access


What Is It?


The Key Office at Salt Lake Community College manages access to all campus buildings, rooms, cabinets, equipment, and vehicles through physical keys and electronic access devices. They process key and access requests within 24–48 hours and require proper authorization and in-person pickup to ensure security and accountability. The office also handles lost and found keys, maintains access records, and enforces policies to protect college property and ensure safe access for students, staff, and faculty.

Who or What is Eligible?


These services are intended for current employees of the college.

How Do I Make a Request or Report an Issue?

You may select "Request Key Access" on the right side of the page to be redirected to the Key Office home page to request access or a key.

How Much Does It Cost?


There are no costs associated with a new key or access, but lost or replacement keys may have some costs.

When Not to Use These Services

If you are not a current employee of the college, these services may not be available.
