Request Child Care and Family Services

What Is It?

Salt Lake Community College’s Child Care and Family Services program supports student parents by offering high-quality, affordable child care and family resources across multiple campuses. With centers at Taylorsville Redwood, South City, and Jordan campuses, the program provides safe, developmentally appropriate environments for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years. Students can access financial assistance through voucher programs, including the Child Care Voucher Assistance ProgramPerkins Grant, and CCAMPIS Grant, which can cover a portion of child care costs depending on eligibility. In addition to child care, the program offers parenting workshops and resources to help students balance academic and family responsibilities, ultimately supporting their persistence and success at SLCC.
