Request Additional AI Models or Internal Model Access for Bruin-AI

What Is It?

Bruin-AI is a hosted service on SLCC Infrastructure that has the ability to utilize various AI models. We have implemented several popular models of public models, but our list is not exhaustive. If there is a specific model that you feel is necessary for your department or courses, you are able to submit a request to have the preferred model to our IT teams to review and decide if it can be added to our library of models.

Who or What is Eligible?

Only Staff or Faculty are permitted to request new models to be added. Requests that do not come from Staff and Faculty will be denied.

How Do I Make a Request or Report an Issue?

Select "Request New AI Model" from the top right of this page and submit the form provided. Be aware that token changes will require supervisor approval.

How Much Does It Cost?

Costs will be based on token usage. If you are unaware of the rate of token consumption of the model you are submitting, you will need that information before requesting the new model.

When Not to Use These Services

If you are not Staff or Faculty, or do not know the details of the AI model you are requesting or its planned usage(token usage, URLs, user counts) then you should not submit this request.
