05/07/2026 OIT Urgent Outage Notification(Resolved)

  

What happened?
At 2:41 PM 5/7/2026, SLCC support teams were notified of an issue affecting Canvas and the ability to access services. We are currently investigating this issue with Canvas to determine when services will be restored. Services were restored at around 8:30 PM 5/7/2026 and Canvas is available to all staff and students.

What was affected?

  • All Canvas services were affected by the interruption. 

 

When did it happen?

  • The service interruption began at 2:41 PM 5/7/2026
  • Services have been restored as of 8:30 PM 5/7/2026

What can you do?

  • All services have been restored and are available.
