Enabling Tutor.com in Course Navigation(For Faculty)

If you are teaching a course where students typically need a tutor, then you can provide access to online tutors through Tutor.com. Follow the steps below on how to enable Online Tutoring (Tutor.com) on your course navigation. 

Steps to enable Online Tutoring (Tutor.com)

  1. Go to your course on Canvas. 
  2. Click Settings on the course navigation.

  3. Click on the Navigation tab and look for Online Tutoring in the list below the text that says, "Drag items here to hide them from students."

  4. Click the three dots and click +Enable. The Online Tutoring will jump up to the upper list.

  5. Scroll down and click the Save button. When you click Home on the course navigation, you should see Online Tutoring in the course navigation list.

Student will be able to click on the Online Tutoring and be directed to Tutor.com. They can choose the subject they need help in. Students only get 8 hours of online tutoring per semester.
