13” MacBook Airs with m1 and M2 Chipsets support one external Monitor.

MacBook Air with M3 Chipset supports 2 external monitors with lid closed.

13” and 14” MacBook Pro without Pro or Max Processor support only one external Monitor.

14” and 16” MacBook Pros with M1 Pro,M2 Pro, or M3 Pro chipsets supports 2 monitors.

14” and 16” MacBook Pros M1Max, M2 Max, or M3 Max chipsets support 4 monitors.
If users require an external monitor, Desktop Services recommends Dell 27 Video Conferencing Monitor - P2724DEB for $395.00 in SLCCBuy Dell’s punch out because it has power delivery over USB-C and 4 USB ports so is a single cable connection for their Mac. If Mac Users have greater screen area needs than a single 27” monitor, please create a ticket for the appropriate desktop tech and add Brent Ranke to the watchlist. We will present them Ultra-Wide and Dock options based on their computer’s capabilities.
On all Macs, Dell Docks and Dell Monitor with DisplayPort Daisy chain will only mirror connection monitors, no extended desktop.
