How To Create A Knowledge Base Article 
 
Description 
This KB gives instructions on how to create an internal Knowledge Base Article. 
  
Criteria 
There is no specific criteria. All members of OIT have access.
  
Estimated Time to Complete 
This task should take about 15 - 20 Minutes - If all goes according to plan (encountering no problems). Do not feel pressured to complete the task in this amount of time. 
  
Resolution 
To create an internal Knowledge Base Article, please follow the steps below. 
  
  1. Click on the ‘Create an Article’ button located in the top right corner of the screen.
        
  1. To toggle templates, click on the three dots next to Submit for Review and select ‘Toggle Template Bar”.
     
  1. Choose the template you would like to use from the options at the bottom of the screen.
     
  1. Fill in the Knowledge Base field as 'Help Desk Services' and enter in the Topic and Category as needed. 
        
         6. Fill in the Short Description and Article Body with the information needed.
             
         7. Click ‘Submit for Review’ and the article will be sent to be reviewed by the authorized user(s).
