SECURITY POLICIES

A major concern today is the use of private information in the growth of machine learning algorithms. There are many options for AI that are powerful tools, but prompts and entries are retained and sold by the providers of these platforms. To ensure data security and compliance, it is crucial to use only the licensed Microsoft Copilot platform for any professional purposes. Unlicensed platforms such as ChatGPT, and Gemini are not supported and should be avoided for professional use. Using Microsoft Copilot ensures that all data remains secure and within the guidelines set by SLCC.

You can review additional security policies and recommendations from our CIO by reviewing our Guidelines for AI Use at SLCC.
