These steps allow you to add a public folder to your Outlook WebMail account that you already have access to. Keep in mind that you can only add a public folder that is either open to everyone of one that you have already been granted access to. Additionally, this can be done on any device using any operating system and any web browser as it uses a web browser to access the email account.
Follow these steps to complete this process;
STEP ONE
Log into your email account by following this link: WebMail Account
STEP TWO
Enter in the following for your email address: Username@slcc.edu. Keep in mind that this is not your email address but what is used to access all of the Office 365 applications.
STEP THREE
Enter in your MySLCC password and then click SIGN IN.
NOTE! If you have forgotten your password and need to rest it, this is done through the MySLCC login page, not here. Navigate to website using this LINK and the select RESET PASSWORD to begin the process. When you are done, return here to complete this process. Additionally, if you are having issues with your password, you can contact the Help Desk at 801-957-5555 or via email at HelpDesk@slcc.edu.
STEP FOUR
You may be prompted to perform the DUO 2FA (Duo Two Factor Authentication) process. Complete this process to continue.
STEP FIVE
You will then be logged into your WebMail account that is used to access your email on the Exchange server. Right-click on the FOLDERS located in the left-hand side of the WebMail window and select ADD PUBLIC FOLDER TO FAVORITES.
STEP SIX
Expand the list of ALL PUBLIC FOLDERS by clicking on the arrowhead to the left.
STEP SEVEN
This will expand the list to show all Public Folders.
Some folders have sub-folders that can be accessed by clicking on the arrowhead to the left of these sub-folder headings.
Once you have selected the public folder you would like to add to your WebMail account, click on the ADD PUBLIC FOLDER at the top of the window. Keep in mind that only one folder can be added at a time.
If you do not see the public folder you want to add listed here, please contact the Help Desk at 801-957-5555 or via email at helpdesk@slcc.edu and request a ticket be submitted to the Server Team to have the folder added.
