SLCC Student / Staff / Faculty Eduroam Wireless Setup for Windows


 

Windows instructions for connecting to the Eduroam wireless network

1.  Connect to the Bruin-WiFi network from the list of available networks.

2.  Open a browser and you will be redirected to the College's Acceptable Use Policy for our network. After you agree to this, you will be allowed access to the internet. This agreement will need to be renewed on a monthly basis.

3.  You will be redirected to a page that will present a link to join the Eduroam network. This is not required for Student or guest access, but is encouraged for extended and secure access across this and other campuses in the state. Eduroam enrollment is required for all College owned devices.

     **If you do not enroll at this time, you will need to wait for the monthly renewal, click this link, or contact Help Desk for assistance**

 

4.  Your operating system should be automatically detected. Click the JoinNow button and run the SLCC_WiFi_Wrapper.exe.

5.  Enter your username and password. After the installation completes, click the Done button to be redirected back to the NAC portal to register your device using the appropriate format. *SLCC Domain computers may already have this software installed.

     STUDENT USERNAME:   username@bruinmail.slcc.edu

     STAFF USERNAME:   username@slcc.edu

6.  Enter your username and password. 

     STUDENT USERNAME:   username@bruinmail.slcc.edu

     STAFF USERNAME:   username@slcc.edu

 

7. In your wireless network connections list, you may now click the Eduroam network to Connect Automatically.
