1. Connect to the Bruin-WiFi network from the list of available networks.
2. A Safari page will be automatically opened that will redirect you to the College's Acceptable Use Policy. After you agree to this, you will be allowed access to the internet. This agreement will need to be renewed on a monthly basis.
3. You will be redirected to a page that will present a link to join the Eduroam network. This is not required for Student or guest access, but is encouraged for extended and secure access across this and other campuses in the state. Eduroam enrollment is required for all College owned devices. Safari will be required to be your default browser for enrolling in Eduroam.
**If you do not enroll at this time, you will need to wait for the monthly renewal, click this link, or contact Help Desk for assistance**

After logging in with your SLCC provided Email, you will be redirected to Profiles in the Privacy & Security System Settings to Approve the install of this WiFi configuration Profile. Select The Salt Lake Community College eduroam Profile, then at the bottom of the newly opened window click Install…. and confirm the install with your local admin password.
Troubleshooting Note: If Safari is not your default browser, this Profile will not be downloaded, and you will receive no error from Chrome, Firefox, etc. Set safari to your default browser and run the SLCC_WiFi_Wrapper SecureW2 package again.
You will then be asked to confirm location sharing to automatically reconnect to the network whenever you come into range of an Eduroam network. You do not need to do this, but you will have to manually connect if you opt not to.
You will then be shown a keychain authorization screen. After entering your password DO NOT HIT RETURN! You MUST select "Always Allow" for your computer to reconnect to the eduroam network after going to sleep or leaving the network’s range.
Troubleshooting Note: If eduroam Wi-Fi works the first time, but every time you return to campus afterwards eduroam doesn’t work you hit the return key thus only allowing the wireless temporarily. You can only get the window to request to always allow access to the SecureW2 Key if you restart the machine on campus with reopen windows when logging back in unchecked.
6. After the SecureW2 package completes installation, click the Done button to be redirected back to the NAC portal to register your device. You may need to refresh your browser. Enter your username and password to and click continue to register.
