Overview
These instructions explain how to install a network printer on an SLCC-issued Windows computer that is currently connected to the EDURoam wireless network.
Prerequisites
- An SLCC-issued Windows computer
- Connected to the eduroam network
- Knowledge of the campus, building, and room location of the printer you want to install
Instructions
1. Open File Explorer.
2. In the address bar at the top of the window, type: \\PRINT\ then press Enter.
3. A list of available printers will appear.
4. Scroll through the list and locate the printer you would like to install.
- Printer names are generally organized by:
- Campus location
- Building location
- Room location
5. Double-click the printer to install it on your computer.
6. Wait for the installation process to be completed. Once finished, the printer will be available in your list of printers.
