How To Find a User's Student Number
Description
This KB gives instructions on how to assist a user with finding their Student Number if they do not know it.
Criteria
The following bullet points are the necessary criteria for this KB.

This task should take about 2 Minutes - If all goes according to plan (encountering no problems). Do not feel pressured to complete the task in this amount of time.
Resolution
To find a user's Student Number or SID, please follow the steps below.

Search for SPAIDEN

Click the 3 horizontal dots next to the ID field to bring up the Option List

Click Person Search
-
Request the users last name and enter it into the Last Name field

If the user has multiple last names or the last name is hyphenated enter a % (wildcard) before and after the last name provided

Request the users first name and enter it into the First Name field

Click Go, F8, or Enter
-
If there are multiple results; request the users middle name or birthdate to find the correct user
