How To Add an Image to the ServiceNow Image Database

This KB gives instructions on how to add an image to the ServiceNow image database
Criteria
ServiceNow role required: image_admin or content_admin
Estimated Time to Complete
This task should take about 2 - 3 minutes - If all goes according to plan (encountering no problems). Do not feel pressured to complete the task in this amount of time.
Resolution
To add an image to the ServiceNow image database, please follow the steps below.

Navigate to System UI > Images to see the list of images stored in the database

Click All

Type Images in the Filter field

Click Images under System UI

Click New to add a new image

Complete the form

Select the Active check box to allow the image to be referenced in HTML

Select a Category in which to organize the image file

Enter the file Name and extension (.jpg, .png, .bmp, .gif, .jpeg, .ico, .svg) by which to reference the image in HTML

Select Click to add... to upload an Image

Click Choose File and then select the file
-
Click OK, wait a few moments for the file to upload
