The VIA Versa feature is available on several campus VIA devices and allows you to wirelessly connect to classroom or meeting space cameras and microphones from your computer (requires a VIA Connect Plus or a VIA Campus device).
See the below video for a demonstration, or read through the instructions below to get started.
STEP 1: Get the VIA app and the VIA VERSA Drivers (first time only)
1. Connect to the SLCC wireless network.
2. OPEN a web browser (Chrome, Safari, etc.) and type the “Room Name” into your browser’s address bar.
3. Room name will vary.

STEP 2: VIA APP and VIA VERSA Drivers (first time only)
1. Download the VIA app. If you already have the app skip to the next step.
2. Next download the Via Versa drivers.
3. Install the Via Versa drivers. (You will only need to download the app and the Via versa one time to use in any classroom.)

STEP 3: Connect VIA app to the room.
1. Open Via app, click get started, type in room name and then type in room code.
2. Click tap to present (optional – can do this later).
STEP 4: Start your Web Meeting (E.G. Zoom, Teams)
1. Click Join with computer audio
2. The Via Versa camera and Versa microphone should automatically connect to your meeting.
3. Test audio and camera
STEP 5: Open audio settings and test.
1. (^) then click Audio Settings
2. Click test speaker. Selection should be (Speakers (VIA Versa Audio)
3. Test Mic. Selection should be (Microphone (VIA Versa Audio)
4. (You should hear the audio in the classroom)

STEP 6: Open and select the Via Versa Camera
(^) and select the VIA Versa camera.

**IMPORTANT**
Next time you do a meeting not using the VIA VERSA function, you may need to reset your Zoom Audio and Video.
